07:00 – 07:15 AM: Our guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City and head to Ben Tre.
Once we get to Phong Nam Bridge, we’ll hop on a boat and cruise along the Chet Say River. The cool river breeze and the beautiful tropical islands will get you excited about all the great things we have planned.
We’ll visit different local workshops to see how people use traditional methods to make crafts, dried coconut, brooms from coconut husks, and art from coconut fibers. We’ll then take a ride around the village in a “xe loi” a kind of motorized rickshaw.
We’ll have a tasty and filling lunch at a local house.
Then, we’ll take a relaxing rowboat ride through natural canals, giving you a real feel for how pretty this area is.
Next, we’ll head to Tra Vinh province. We’ll visit the “Con Chim” community tourism site, which was built to fit in with nature, respect local culture, and promote slow tourism. We’ll have some time to bike around Con Chim Island and meet the locals to learn about their daily lives.
Finally, we’ll take the boat back to the dock and check into our hotel for some rest and relaxation.
