08:00 AM: Our guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City and head to the Mekong Delta in a minivan or bus. We’ll drive for about an hour and a half, passing by lush green rice fields, before reaching the charming countryside town of My Tho.
From there, we’ll hop on a motorboat and cruise along the Tien River to Tortoise Islet. Along the way, we’ll see the fishing port, places where they build boats, and the Dragon, Phoenix, and Unicorn Islets.
We’ll then walk into a village and visit a local fruit orchard, where you can try some delicious tropical fruits while listening to traditional Southern Vietnamese music played by the locals. You can also join in their everyday activities and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of this beautiful natural area. We’ll even visit a bee farm and see some pythons.
Lunch will be served right in the middle of the orchard.
Next, our boat trip will take us through the Bao Dinh canal into Ben Tre province, also known as “the land of coconuts.” We’ll see a special way of farming called “Garden – Pond – Cage” before stopping at a shop that makes coconut candy.
After that, we’ll enjoy a relaxing rowboat ride on a small canal shaded by water coconut trees. Once we’re done with the boat ride, we’ll take a bike ride around the island before getting back in the car.
05:00 PM: Arrive in Can Tho City, where you can check in your hotel.
