08:45 AM: Our tour guide will meet you at Ben Thanh Market to kick off the Wet Market Tour.
During this guided tour of Saigon’s famous Ben Thanh Market, you’ll gain insight into how we procure meats and vegetables on a daily basis. You’ll have the chance to experience the lively atmosphere of these bustling wet markets, which are an integral part of Vietnamese daily life.
Next, you’ll be taken to our kitchen where chefs will lead you through preparing a traditional Vietnamese four-course meal.
Each participant will have their own private cooking station and all the necessary ingredients to create a meticulously crafted menu of classic Vietnamese dishes.
Under the guidance of our local head chef, you’ll learn about the flavors, spices, and cooking techniques that define Vietnam’s rich culinary heritage.
You’ll have the opportunity to try your hand at making four iconic Vietnamese dishes, such as goi cuon (spring rolls).
Finally, you’ll get to celebrate your culinary efforts by tasting the dishes you’ve created.
After cooking class, you will be given a Vietnamese cookbook with over 25 recipes.
