Cu Chi Tunnels & Mekong Delta Private Day Trip

06:45 – 07:00 AM: Our guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City and take you on a bus ride to Cu Chi. It takes about an hour and a half. Before we explore Cu Chi Tunnels, you’ll watch a short video about how they were built and how people lived in them during the war. Then you’ll have time to walk around and see different parts of the tunnels, including kitchens, bedrooms, weapon factories, hospitals, and command centers. There are also hidden trap doors and dangerous traps that were used during the war. We’ll have some tea and cassava (food that people ate during the war) to try. Next, we’ll have lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, we’ll visit My Tho City. We’ll take a boat ride on the Tien River and see four beautiful islands called Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise. We’ll switch to a smaller boat and go through Thoi Son canal. You’ll see the countryside and can take a bike ride around Tan Thach village. We’ll visit a coconut candy shop, eat fresh fruit and honey tea, and listen to Southern Vietnamese folk music. Finally, we’ll head back to Ho Chi Minh City. 07:00 PM: Arrive at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. End of services.
